General Information

The Fredstrom Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a non-profit, all-volunteer group committed to enriching our children's educational experiences at Fredstrom Elementary and building a vibrant community at our school.This site provides information to help you stay informed about Fredstrom PTO news and events as well as opportunities to get involved. 

Book Fair

November 6-9

Fredstrom's Scholastic Book Fair is coming soon! We need parent volunteers to help make this event a success! Each parent that volunteers will earn a $10.00 certificate (for each shift worked) toward book purchases at our Book Fair.
Helpers are needed with set up on Friday, November 3rd, and also with cashiering during the fair:
Monday, 11/6, 3p-5p
Tuesday, 11/7, 3p-5p
Wednesday, 11/8, 3p-5p
Thursday, 11/9, 3p-7p

Lowe’s Donates Money For Playground Equipment Project

 Fredstrom PTO has received a $5,000 Lowe’s Toolbox for Education grant to help with our playground equipment project. 

Thanks to the funds provided from this grant, as well as from past PTO fundraisers, Fredstrom was able to move forward with updating the playground. LPS installed a new concrete pad and rubber surface, as well as new pieces of playground equipment.

We’re so thankful to Lowe’s for generously supporting this project and look forward to how it will positively impact all of the children at Fredstrom!



Support Fredstrom Elementary Monday, November 13th by dining out at Culver’s at 4940 N. 27th Street from 5:00 – 8:00p.m.  20% of sales will be donated back to Fredstrom!
